Upper School Mathematics Teacher
An Upper School Mathematics teacher will provide instruction for multiple levels of high school mathematics.
Subjects and Classes: The teacher may be asked to teach courses in general mathematics, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, statistics, and calculus.
Age Group: Instruction will be given to 9th-12th grades students (ages: 14-18).
Time Commitment: This is a full-time position with the expectation that the teacher will work regular full-time hours between 8 am to 4 pm on a daily basis.
Extra Responsibilities: May be asked to lead a study hall or lunch duty, and are required to attend all scheduled staff meetings.
Professional Requirements: A university degree in education and/or the subject area is required, and a teaching credential is preferred. The applicant must complete the ACSI Philosophy of Education requirement within three years of starting the position.
