Ukrainian National Language Access Liaison

Respond to the translation, interpretation, and language learning needs of TeachBeyond Ukraine and use the tools made available by the Global Translation Team to help meet those needs.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Ukrainian.
• Experience with industry standard CAT tools preferred (Phrase, Trados, Smart Cat etc.)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Meet with TeachBeyond Ukraine contact as needed (no fewer than once per month) .
• Meet with Europe regional leadership regularly.
• Meet with the Lead Translator/Translation Coordinator weekly.
• Serve as a liaison between Ukraine National Entity and the Global Translation Team, reporting regularly on translation needs, translator training, and available translation resources.
• Translate and proofread English and Ukrainian translations.
• Keep the phrase term base/glossary and resource hub up to date.

This opportunity is a remote and support based position. Pay is based on the applicant's own ability to raise funds for their salary; paid via donor or self-support.
