Secondary English Teacher
The Christian International School of Prague's vision is to have students who are followers of Jesus among the nations expressing their faith by thinking biblically, and loving and serving their communities for Him. Our grades 1-12 student body has about 160 students. It is comprised of students from over 30 different countries. We use an English-language, American-style curriculum. We offer visa process assistance for missionary teachers and staff, as well as discounts and scholarships for children of staff members.
The Christian International School of Prague (CISP) is located in Prague, a beautiful old city in the heart of Central Europe. It is also in the heart of the Czech Republic, which is predominantly atheist and agnostic in belief. In the midst of this spiritual climate, CISP seeks to be a light for missionary, expat, and national students alike, enveloping them in the love of Christ.
A secondary English teacher will provide instruction in writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature, develop and implement lesson plans, and facilitate class discussions from a biblical perspective.
Subjects and Classes: The teacher may be asked to teach in writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature to both middle school and high school students.
Age Group & Class Size: Class sizes at CISP range between 10-16 students. Instruction may be given to students in grades 6-12 (approximately ages 11-19).
