Secondary Design & Technology Teacher

Lighthouse Primary and Secondary School is seeking a passionate and creative Design & Technology Teacher for our Secondary School (Grades 7–13).

The ideal candidate will provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences in design, woodworking, problem-solving, and personal development. The role involves encouraging innovation, practical skills, and critical thinking while fostering a strong appreciation for design and engineering.

Requirements

• B.Ed. in Design and Technology or a degree in Design and Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with a PGCE or an alternative recognised teaching qualification.
• Familiarity with and experience in the CIE curriculum is desirable, though not a strict requirement.
• Strong commitment to student engagement, creativity, and holistic development.
• Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for design, technology, and engineering.
