AP/CP Psychology Teacher

Seeking a knowledgeable and engaging CP / AP Psychology Teacher to join our secondary team for the 2026–2027 academic year. 

Brief Description

The teacher will deliver instruction aligned with the American CP curriculum and the College Board AP Psychology framework, covering key psychological concepts, research methods, critical analysis, and exam preparation for AP students.

Purpose of the Position

The purpose of the CP / AP Psychology Teacher position is to support Hope Academy of Bishkek’s mission by delivering high-quality psychology instruction that develops students’ understanding of human behavior, cognition, and scientific inquiry. The teacher will guide CP students in building foundational knowledge and critical thinking skills, while preparing AP students for the College Board AP Psychology examination through rigorous, college-level instruction.

The teacher is expected to create an engaging, inclusive, and academically challenging learning environment that promotes ethical reasoning, evidence-based thinking, and intellectual curiosity, while contributing positively to the collaborative culture of an international school community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification
• Experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level
• Experience teaching AP Psychology strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of psychological theories, research methods, and scientific reasoning
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
